This isn't characteristic of an ear drum infection, but appears to be motions of your ear drum in relation to pressure changes outside and inside the middle ear. One cause if this is some congestion of the eustachian tube that connects your throat behind the nose to the middle ear. See your MD for evaluation if you still have concerns.

It could be an infection, but more likely it’s due to congestion. Do you have allergies. Have you had a cold recently? If the problem worsens or doesn’t go away, see your healthcare provider in person so they can get a look inside your ear and evaluate the problem.
