Labyrinthitis: Also called vestibulitis. These symptoms can be explained by a viral infection that blocks the normal drainage of the middle ear, and affects the balance organ in the inner ear. A decongestant (eg, pseudoephedrine) can help with the congestion, and Meclizine can help control the dizziness/vertigo. This problem usually gets better on its own. If worse, or if not better in a week see your doctor
