A member asked:

I had surgery in 2018 to originally remove a lymphnode. turns out it was a badly infected salivary gland. no biopsy necessary according to surgeon. that lymph node has stayed enlarged since. its soft and moveable. what should i do about the node?

The salivary gland after an infection can become blocked and dysfunctional. Obtain a referral to an ENT physician for evaluation, as a biopsy may be necessary.

Don't understand. You say the node was removed yet you say it is still present. Please seek evaluation by an Oral Surgeon to determine cause of your problem and appropriate treatment.
