A member asked:

Multiple high signal on flair involving the bilateral periventricular and subcortical deep white matter likely representing mild chronic ischemic microangiopathic changes has been seen... is it brain tumor or wgite matter ?is dangerous?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Based upon the post, there is no confirmation of a brain tumor, findings are nonspecific, and must be correlated with your clinical symptoms. Cause may be prior head trauma, migraine, cigarette smoking, even demyelinating disorder, etc. Talk with your doctor about the significance. Or virtual consult here at HT (www.connect@healthtap.com)
