A member asked:

If baclofen is prescribed for minor spasticity control due to minor cerebral palsy, can it be taken on 'as needed' basis, and how long do you have to be off it before getting pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Baclofen has a brief half-life of 3-4 hrs, and efficacy usually requires frequent dosing, but no reason why it cannot be used as needed. Typical elimination period is a minimum of 72 hrs, and would suggest, to be fully assured, stopping about one week prior to conception
