A member asked:

Had covid at home over past 2 weeks, nearly gone. was quite mild compared to what news said etc. unvaccinated. after reading about myocarditis i'm scared to go back to exercise?

Vaccination would have reduced your risk of myocarditis exponentially. If you have no symptoms you are probably fine. If you have symptoms, or want to be examined so that you are not dealing with guesswork, see your General Practitioner.

You may start exercise at a low level of intensity and duration and proceed as tolerated. If you have any concern, consult with your doctor. It is still imperative that you get vaccinated for Covid to enhance your protection from the multiple strains of the virus in circulation. Get HPV, Flu and Covid vaccines. Wish you good health!
