Bleeding is not always caused by a menstrual event, and may be due to another cause, such as pregnancy outside the uterus (ectopic) or polyps/fibroids/PCOS. See a gyn physician for guidance and further testing.

No, it is not normal and you should consult a gynecologist. Extra blood loss puts you at risk of anemia and it would be useful to take oral iron and multivitamins. Taking these does not remove the reason to see a gynecologist. Wish you good health!
