Have divitriculitis--off & on for years pain is not severe, but sometimes is on left side and radiates to the back. sometimes it is in the middle of the abdomen and sometimes it is on the right side feels like gall bladder. pancrease be involved?

Diverticulitis of the descending colon does cause left sided abdominal pain& tenderness & occasional radiation of discomfort to the back, but for it to cause right sided symptoms you would have to have right sided diverticilar disease as well. Mid abdominal discomfort usually isn't seen with either. Could you have a type of inflammatory bowel disease like Crohn's? Your gastroenterologist can adv
