I didn't have any eye solution and used contact solution for eye drops because my eyes were dry due to my contacts. someone told me this is a big no no. is this true? should i be worried if did this as a one time emergency?

Using contact solution should not pose a problem. It may be better to remove the contacts and soak in the usual contact solution if your eyes are dry.
