Eat Healthy.: No specific foods to avoid. As a diabetic eat a healthy diet with general avoidance of high simple sugar intake. There is no prohibition on any food, but you should use common sense and measure bg to get an idea of which foods are reasonable and which are not. If gastritis is due to medications, treatment is to avoid those meds or add additional protective treatment not avoid foods.

Bland diet: Eat foods that have few additives and spices. Fruits, vegetables and grains are good sources of these. Avoid spicey, citrus and dense foods as they can further irritate the lining of the stomach.

Chicken vindaloo?: Acute gastritis-inflammation of stomach lining due to meds, alcohol, even acute h. Pylori infection. Stick with bland diet, no alcohol, minimal caffeine, no hot, .Spicy food; may tolerate cooked fruits and veggies better than raw. Chronic gastritis due to h. Pylori, or autoimmune? Maybe the above reccs as well. See doc to get checked and treated. May tolerate more foods once on appropriate rx.
