If anxiety or depression is said to be caused due to chemical imbalance in brain, such as with serotonin etc. can't these get corrected on their own or medicines are required to balance them out in every case? does medicine fix it permanently?

Not all the time do medications be required for treating anxiety or depression. In contrast, medications may not able to fix these conditions permanently.
