I have what feels like 1 swollen lymph node in my groin. im sexually inactive last 3 yrs, but if it were due to hsv (though i dont believe i have hsv) should i expect lesions to appear soon? &if no lesions appear should i assume hsv isnt the cause?

You can be sure it isn't herpes, which doesn't cause persistent lymph node enlargement.

You can watch and wait. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
