Cyst on pubic area burst and left a small open wound, which has been bleeding some. i have been cleaning it with alcohol and covering it but i still fear sepsis. how can i keep the area clean to avoid infection?

Sepsis is an uncommon process generally found in hospitalized patients with impaired immune function. If the cyst becomes infected its extent would most often be localized to that area, not spread to the bloodstream. If you are concerned about worrisome changes, contact your doc.

Apply triple antibiotic cream to the wound. If you get fever or spreading redness around the wound, see a doctor or go to hospital ER.
