I worked in a lab, was told urine specimens can last 24 hours in the refrigerator and from 24-72 hours with an added preservative. i submitted my urine specimen 93 hours ago results are pending. is urine still viable for accurate results?

Incomplete information. What is the urine test looking for? I like those for bacterial UTI's tested immediately or if refrigerated a few hours. Some tests for specific chemicals in the urine may be deferred for days. When you post, the more background information you provide the more likely you will receive a focused answer. It would depend on what the urine is being tested for? Testing may have been done the same day and delay may be in just transmitting the results.
