It is uncommon to get dizzy when going to sleep, but head position or muscular tightness in the neck could contribute to a vestibular ( inner ear) condition that your eyes are compensating. Vit D replacement unlikely to help this. Physical therapy can help postural and dizzy complaints quickly. See your physician for examination of eyes and ears, to see if PT is right for you. Best wishes.

Low vitamin D levels should be corrected ASAP through sunshine contact and supplements. Should aim for serum level of 50-70 ng/ml. But this will not reverse your dizziness, and that should be evaluated by otological/ audiometric testing by an experienced otolaryngologist. As mentioned, vestibular physical therapy may stabilize if this involves focal inner ear problems.
