Cluster headache is not treated with steroid alone. I wonder if the treating doctor suspects vasculitis related headache such as temporal arteritis but 5 days of Prednisone is not the right treatment duration. Are you currently on any maintenance therapy for SLE?

Obtain neurologist and explore ways of preventative intervention. Can be chronic and best to stop prior to onset

I regard "Cluster Headache" as a symptom not so much as a diagnosis. The underlying problem could be as simple as temporal muscle tension or muscle spasm for a TMJ disorder which I have seen many times. An underlying cause or diagnosis is very much in order.
