In early 20 i od & 1 of the pills was montelukast (qty 15-30). 21 i found the black box update on it....my dr, "it safe" "impossible it made you sad" "you could od nothing would happen"...i didnt tell him. could it have long term effects?

After the treatment for the overdose I assume no major injuries to organs were observed and, if so, I wouldn't worry about any long-term effects. Behavior and mood related changes have been described with montelukast use. Your pharmacist can provide you with more information.
