Reflexes alone do not mean much, having absent reflexes may be more significant especially in the context of other symptoms.

A neurological evaluation is far more than just examining reflexes, and starts with a full history of the presenting complaint plus additional prior medical issues. The examination looks at emotional and cognitive processing; sensory, motor, and coordinative abilities; and general assessment of brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves and muscles. Ask your neurologist what the evaluation revealed.
