A member asked:

Would you consider daily ambulatory ecg reports showing multiple events including combos of subventricular tachycardia, couplet of pvc/pac, sinus rhythm, and a-fib an emergency? or could it wait until 1st avail cardiologists appt 12/15?

The person ordering should know the report and take appropriate action. If they haven't call them and ask them and the rationale for their decision. If no response go to an urgent care/Emergency.

Try hard to get an earlier appointment, specifically with a cardiologist with a sub specialty of electro physiology. You may have best success by calling the cardiology department at a university hospital near you.. It's alarming that these varied arrythmias are occurring daily. A fib requires anticoagulant treatment to prevent embolic stroke. Hospitalization may be necessary for prompt care.
