Diagnosis: It is not easy for a patient to make a diagnosis on himself. Crusting in the nose may not necessarily be the result of sinus infection. You are describing a nasal finding that could vary from dried up mucus to a very serious inflammatory disease known as wegener, s granulomatosis (unlikely). Therefore, see an ENT doc for a specific diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
