How do i know if my almost 4 week old baby is colic?

A clinical label for colic is applied to any infant with unexplained crying 3 hours a day at least 3 days a week in the first 3 months of life. A tendency toward afternoon and evening crying is common. The label is not applied when investigation reveals a medical cause.
