The nail bed is that portion of the skin beneath the nail plate. If the nail matrix is not involved, you should experience Normal growth of the nail and surrounding skin.

42 y.O. Just stopped biting nails. Acrylic overlay on them, no tips. They grow upward, have a short nailbed. Dad's nails very similar. Need a cure!
