While a fever and more rapid heart rate can be from usually mild infections, your heart problems put you at high risk for serious complications even from mild illness. If you have chest pressure/pain, shortness of breath, or just really feel worse, please do be seen. Flu, covid and RSV are out there, and people can get very ill!
