You should see an ENT doctor if dentist couldn't make the diagnosis. Stone in the salivary duct (sialolithiasis) can cause the similar symptoms.

Start with a specialist Endodontist to see if you have tooth infection. If (hopefully) no tooth infection, then see both specialist Oral Surgeon for examination and possiblebiopsey and also specialist Periodontist to evaluate for soft tissue disease.
