No. periodontal disease is caused by bacteria, from not brushing properly, from not flossing daily. It nis not caused by a pill. For appropriate care please see your Family Dentist or preferably a specialist Periodontist.

No analgesic or "pain management type of pill" can promote periodontal disease, as mentioned. But am confused by a history of such medication since age 12. Do you need a thorough updated reassessment of a chronic problem? A virtual consult could reorganize and update. (www.connect@healthtap.com)
