Yes all you need is to get enough virus in the conjunctiva that the body does not knock out. I would think. Having the Vacc should boost antibodies to help kill the virus.

Although it is not likely to be a major cause of transmission, COVID-19 can infect the conjunctiva or any mucous membrane. For this reason, among many others, you should practice good hand hygeine and not touch your eyes.

Can Covid-19 be contracted through any other openings besides the mouth and nose? If it can be contracted through the mouth and nose, why aren't the eyes susceptible?
Red blood shot eyes since contracting Covid-19 in March. Almost 7 months later and it is still the same. Already tried C-NAC eyedrops. Didn't work. Any opinions on why I still have it? And what treatment methods to discuss with my family doc next?
