A 22-year-old female asked:
Hi, i am 3 weeks late for my period. last month i was 11 days early and these are the only two times that i have been irregular. i am 22 and no chance of being pregnant. at what point should i be concerned enough to visit a doctor and get some tests done?

3 cycles: 3 cycles of abnormalities is usually my threshold for recommending you seek medical advice. Have you been sick with a virus or been on antibiotics? Excessive stress? New birth control / hormonal medications? These can all cause irregularities in your periods.
