Arthritis in the shoulders or elbows can cause similar symptoms. But pinched nerves or even some vitamin deficiencies especially, the B-complexes, can cause peripheral neuropathy, which might cause numbness, tingling or shooting pains in hands and fingers. The PCP is where to start and then the Neurologist and Arthritis Doctors.
