Do I assume correctly that you're asking about "cereal?" If so, rice cereal is often the first one used in the US and that's what I would recommend.

I would hold off starting cerelac till your baby is 6 months old. At this age , babies can digest the proteins better. If your baby is having problems gaining weight, then you need to discuss with your pediatrician about cerelac. Babies do just find with breast milk or infant formula for the first 6 months without solid foods. Make sure your baby is taking about 26-30 ounces per day though.
