Tendonitis: Represents and acute inflammatory condition due to injury or overuse. Unusual to have in multiple places unless and in season athlete or from recent illness or antibiotic use. If there longer than 6 weeks or if in multiple places of varying lengths greater than 6 weeks usually represents tendinosis (disease of the tendon).
