Got cut from a safety razor while shaving. blade was new and didn't seem to have any rust or soil on it. i used shaving cream and aftershave after the cut. i haven't taken tetanus shot in last 5 years. do i need tetanus shot. blade new, 20 hrs passed?

Your risk of tetanus with such a cut approaches zero, but is not zero. Cleaning it well & watching for inflammation is needed. Tetanus is first a localized infection. If it has been 20 years it would be a good time to get a booster so you are not at risk.
