There are many products in the market free of lactose. try those. You can then try dairy in small amts. to see if you can tolerate that and increase slowly. your condition comes in low to high intolerance and you might be in the low. . Or you can take the pills. Using the bathroom too many times is not good for your health. Take precaution and don't pay the price! Good luck

The lactose you don't absorb it is digested by germs in your gut & these create acid & gas that triggers your increased stooling frequency. It does lead to some nutrient loss. If you want to decrease the stooling & consume lactose products take the pills or lactose free substitutes, since there are many available. As many as 1/4 adults are lactose intolerant so many are available.
