A member asked:

All my blood tests / ultrasound were ok (amh above 4 ng/ml). what are the risks of iui with oral medication (e.g. clomiphene) for ovarian stimulation? is there a risk of severe ohss (around what percentage)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The risk of OHSS is less than 0.5% with clomid and when it occurs it is usually very mild. The risk with letrozole is even less than that. However as long as your cycles are monitored by your doctor either by ultrasound or blood hormone levels, it is unlikely you’ll end up with OHSS
