What does "there is frothy opacification of the right nasofrontal recess. the remaining paranasal sinuses, mastoid air cells, bones and soft tissues are unremarkable" i have been having headaches daily, can this explain why? or incidental finding?

Hello. The “frothy opacification” suggests an acute infection. You can start with afrin nasal spray as directed x 3-5 days then stop. Saline nasal irrigation after afrin will help mobilize and rid your sinuses of infection. Mucinex can also help thin this fluid too. If after a few days, and still no better, consider seeing your Family Doc or ENT for further evaluation and maybe steroids/antibiotic
