A member asked:

Is the titers antibody test a totally different test than the sars-cov-2 semi-quant total ab test? if so, is there a value for a titers that would indicate that you may be in a protective range and if so, what would that range be? had 3 vacs & 2 sars?

Any "positive antibody titer" or the SARS-CoV-2 total antibody test will demonstrate antibody presence, but the response to antibody production is individual, and "protection" is therefore not quantifiable, i.e., partial "protection" may vary in its ability to diminish COVID-19 symptoms, but generally will not allow for hospitalization (respiratory symptom extremes).

For the antibody titer to be meaningful, the test should measure Covid neutralizing antibody and very few laboratories can measure that. If you are vaccinated, do not be concerned about antibody titer.
