I am feeling ill (as if i have a cold/flu) due to allergies (an ent specialist confirmed), but i am not experiencing any other symptoms like sneezing, cough, runny nose, etc; what is the best otc allergy medication to relieve this symptom?

This is an individual issue. What works well for some may not for others. There are some that are mildly sedating/long lasting like cetirizine and some like loratadine/fexofenadine that are long acting/non sedating to most. Simple diphenhydramine is mildly sedating/short acting but very effective. Unfortunately how they work for you will take some personal trials.
