i am having head congestion, watery eyes and sneezing. coughing beginning from drainage from nose. allergies or flu?

Depends: Both flu and allergies can cause upper respiratory symptoms. Flu however will be associated with high fever and resolve in 7-10 days. Allergy symptoms, depending upon exposure, can last a day or two ( think cat exposure) to months ( pollens).
