Listerine "Nightly Reset" Total Care Alcohol-Free Anticavity Mouthwash can certainly be used. The active ingredient in this Nightly Reset option is fluoride — which specifically helps reduce the risk for cavities and also contains bacteria-reducing xylitol.

There is a Listerine Zero alcohol mouthwash and an ACT Zero alcohol mouthwash, as well as several other brands. They should be available by mail order or in many large pharmacy chains.

Fortunately there are numerous alcohol-free mouthwashes available on the market, so you have many choices. Know that mouthwash is not a substitute for, but an adjunct to, both proper brushing and flossing. Report the dizzy spell to your Family Physician for their records. If it happens again, report that also to your GP.
