If you are a person whose menstrual cycle is very regular and suddenly it has changed, we need to think about causes. Oral/IM contraceptives, pregnancy, stress, nutritional deficiencies, weight loss, excessive exercise, eating disorders, excessive weight gain and mental health medications can all cause irregular periods. If any of these fit your situation, small modifications may help. See a DR

Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.
