Why do i have 4 puncture sites - 2 each side of groin. for cerebral catheter angiogram? is it for artery and vein visualisation?

Hello. There are different reasons for the punctures. The best is to ask your provider. It may have been performed on both sides to see different blood vessels, possibly due to a difficulty in passing the catheter on the first side or as you stated, to view an arterial vs a venous examination. Ask your provider.
