Painful throbbing headache when lying on my stomach and stops when i lie on my back. does anyone know why this happens? i had back surgery in 2016 where they put metal rods in my back so maybe its pressure coming from that?

Normally rods in the spine should no give you that symptom. It is likely related to fluid pressure in the spine /brain increasing in that position. Pl consult your MD or surgeon who operated on you, for without proper exam no reason can be given. Good luck
