Ive had old blood/mucas in my stool a few times this month. inconsistently though about 1x a week. i'm not sure if it makes any difference but i have been dieting too. i'm in my 20's and havent long had a child (8 months). do i need to be concerned?

Any abnormal bleeding, including in stool warrants an investigation. If may be as simple as hemorrhoids, but even bleeding hemorrhoids can cause anemia. It would be prudent to see your primary care provider for an initial assessment and to ascertain if a specialist consultation is needed. Wish you good health!
