Ive been taking tessalon (prescribed to help deal with my cough after tobacco cessation) and i wanted to know i could consume marijuana or alcohol while on this medication?

Why would you want to start two bad habits while quitting one. Alcohol is a poison that never did anybody any good, ever, It will destroy your brain cells, damage testicular cells, cause cancer in many organs, hepatitis, cirrhosis and pancreatitis etc. There is no safe level of alcohol intake. Marijuana is a psychoactive drug and will mess with your brain, and damage your lungs like tobacco.
