Currently being tx'd for PSA with plaquenil and Stelera. Last 2 years I've had 1 positive ANA but my (ds) DNA runs extremely high between 835 - 2200 IU/ml. I suffer from extreme fatigue and joint and body aches. Lupus? Another autoimmune disease?
ANA measured 1:640; then follow up 1:1280. Both DENSE fine speckled. Rheum says negative for autoimmune disease, symptoms likely fibro. How can you just ignore an ANA that high? Is it true DFS doesnt indicate anything?
Would it be possible for a body to have adjusted to autoimmune hemolytic anemia over time. I have had fatigue, low grade fevers, positive coombs test, and an alarming drop in blood levels after surgery not losing much. labs come back low normal.
