What could this lower back pain possibly be? it started suddenly as a sharp pain on the right side of my lower back couple months ago. now the pain is mild but annoying. its worse when i bend over or if i sit long periods of time, muscles feel tense?

It is not usual to have a sharp one sided back pain for your age group. It sounds like a pinched nerve. May need x-rays of the lower back and MRI to diagnose the problem.
