Thank you in advance for answering: i have vagina candidas glabrata infection. im going for a spa session. is it better to go for warm or cold water? i would not soak for too long as i understand dampness is a good environment for yeast to thrive?

Any person with a vaginal infection should not go to a spa and use a publicly available water pool. Whether hot or cold, the yeast can spread to others. Wait until your infection is completely cleared, then go to a public spa. As for your own infection, any dampness or soaking can cause the infection to worsen.

I recommend postponing exercising in tight gym outfits or having any intercourse until the infection is cleared. Bear in mind that yeast infections can be passed back and forth between sexual partners. Heat, sweating and friction do favor a yeast infection.
