The frothy opacification may be consistent with the sinusitis that you have since location of pain and abnormality on CT are consistent. It is possible for the fluid to slowly drain with control of infection with appropriate antimicrobial. The Mayo Clinic has shown that chronic or recurrent sinusitis may be a reaction to mold, often found in damp or water-damaged buildings. This is unlike occasional (bacterial) or seasonal (allergic) sinusitis, and is best treated by a provider who understands the cause.
