: This is hard to determine without an exam and tests (x-rays). Sometimes the vertebrae (where ribs start) in your back are rotated some, clockwise or counterclockwise which results in a rib on one side thrusting forward &amp; the other back. It could be something else. Talk with your doc at a regular visit if it bothers you.
