I'm having a brain mri on wed. i've been having many issues with cognitive decline, fatigue, left side weakness, paralyzed toes (left), gastro, lots more due to long haulers. can i expect anything to show on mri if i've been getting better?

Sounds like the nervous system is quite involved. Best to calm it with Vitamin B Complexes, especially -B12,B6, B2 & Folic Acid (B9) - Vitamin C,D,E , Zinc & Gingko. Avoid inflammatory foods/drinks with high sugars and artificial sugars. Most importantly stay away from cold/ices foods & drinks and see the PCP for Antiviral also.

Suggest you follow through on your doctor's recommendation and heed advice. Chronic neurological symptoms can fluctuate from day to day, and do often zig-zag depending upon internal and external stimuli. Glad you are feeling better but be proactive and prevent a downhill exacerbation. A demyelinating condition needs to be excluded.
