Can fluid in ear cause the lymph node below there in neck to swell slightly and cause some pain? My Dr said fluid is clear, no fever so he doesn't think infection just allergies. He said node was swollen a little. Can a node swell if no infection?

Had strep, was on the Z-Pak. Symptoms improved but throat was still sore and the ear bothered me. Now on clindamycin for 10 days for an ear infection. Ear feels less sore/full but throat on the right side is sore. Could this be drainage from the ear?
Have had a couple days of on/off light-headedness that turns into back of head/neck tension & slight eye strain. Allergies? Sinus infection? Thoughts?
